| A bit about me... Photography has been a hobby for me since I was a teenager. My father worked in a camera shop while he was in school, and there were always cameras around the house. One of the first cameras I seriously experimented with was an Olympus Pen. Digital imaging intrigued me from the moment I first heard about it. I couldn't wait to be able to experience immediate visualization of my images. |
| My first digital camera was an Olympus D220L, and although the image quality was poor, it reinforced my desire to follow the digital trend. In 2001 I purchased my first digital SLR, and quickly became enthralled. I began reading and observing the techniques utilized by my favorite nature photographers. I acquired a selection of lenses, culminating with recent the purchase of a Canon 500 F4. Photography is a way of expressing myself....every outing is an opportunity to learn about nature and the wonderful creatures who live in her realm. |
